Hello
lovelies! Are you all sitting down? Because I am about to blow your
mind with Twig and Thistles five part holiday series, the
Five Days of Felt. Behold:

I
have been on a straight up felt frenzy lately. I just love it, I'm
wild for it, I just cant get enough felt! And apparently the blog
brilliance that is Twig and Thistle could not agree more. I have
seen so much holiday felt cuteness that I am about ready to buy a
heard of alpaca for our small yard and start knitting big things
from their wool so that I can wash them and make them very
small-the knitted items, that is, not the alpaca. Anyway, I am
getting a little carried away with all of my feelings about felt.
So, before I write a sonnet about it, let's just take a deep breath
and tackle this one at a time, shall we?

Felt Pine
Cones from Family Circle
Can you
stand it? I want to decorate a whole tiny tree with these-make a
garland---use them for present decorations! Can you imagine? Brown
paper packages tied up with string and THESE GUYS!?! I might spend
the next 11 months making them for next Christmas. See the Five
days of Felt post from
Twig and Thistle here. And tune in here for the
full tutorial from Family Circle.

Felt
Envelopes from Small Adventure
I
want these for everything from organizing my table linens to having
my niece write letters to Santa. Seriously, the possibilities are
endless. See the original post from
Twig and Thistle here. Or grab one for yourself from the Small Adventure
Etsy Shop right here

Felt
Garland from Purl Bee
This is
just so simple and sweet. I love it pared with vintage-y ornamints.
The candy cane red and white is adorable, but clearly you could
make it in any color combo you could image. You can find the
original post from
Twig and Thistle here, or
head over to Purl Bee to learn how to make your own right here.
They even have instructions for using a similar technique for
making felt bracelets and necklaces! Swoon!

Felt-y
Fabulousness from Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and Shauna
of Shauna Younge Dessert Tables
This
wreath with felt holly, felt gift card holder with jingle bell
closure, and this fantastic felt mistletoe are all from a series
called
The 10 Days of Craftsmas. It's all genius! I could go on and
on, but just see for yourselves at
Twig and Thistle or head over the
Sweet Tooth for the full experience.
The felt
holly wreath tutorial is at Somewhere Splendid along with
the gift card holder and the
felt mistletoe.
Enjoy
crafting your little hearts out! Next time you see me I just might
be covered in felt holly. Just FIY…
