Presidential (or any occasion) Banner how-to and Free Font Download
This we an exciting weekend in
Asheville! The President and First Lady were in town for a weekend
getaway. The President's visit was not made official until the day
before their arrval and as it turns out, our house happened to be
on the motorcade rout. Well, I only had a few hours to make the
president feel welcome, so I whipped up this banner out of some
things I had lying around:

I used regular construction paper from a
multi color pad and cut it into triangles, printed out the letters
using my laser printer and a free font, RINGMASTERfrom dafont.com, some white raffia, a
glue gun and a stapler. I hand cut the letters and glued them in
place on the construction paper. Then stapled the construction
paper to the raffia. Presto! A banner fit for a President (or most
any occasion). For more info on the presidential visit to Asheville
