Trend Alert: Pretty Patterned Table Number Cut-Outs

I see a new trend in table numbers
arriving for summer. Numbers cut from pretty patterned paper, put
on a stick, and inserted into floral centerpieces. All of these
have a vintage-y, hand-crafted whimsical feel, as pictured above

Andrea'sWedding. Do you

This whimsical no-fuss look is perfect
for a casual outdoor summer wedding. To make your own, choose a
font that you love in a large point size and print out numbers 1
though 9 in black ink on regular paper with your desktop printer.
Cut out the numbers and use them as stencils to trace and cut out
the same shapes from the patterned card stock of your choice. Cut
two shapes for each number (so they are double sided), insert a
bamboo skewer between them, glue together with a glue stick and
secure to skewer with a staple. Insert skewered number into
arrangement of cut flowers or a potted plant tucked into a
galvanized bucket. Use the same patterned paper for every number or
mix and match coordinating patterns for added whimsy.
