I had to share this fabulous vintage inspired bridal shower thrown and blogged about by Heather Donohue. I adore all of the details and am personally blown away by the sandwich loaf.
I actually had one of these at a bridal shower I attended when I was maybe 12 years old at my Aunt Ruthie's house. I don't recall much about the shower except for the layered sandwich goodness.     those foods really took my attention . When it comes to bridal shower ideas, there can be so many; it's hard to know which one to pick. One thing's for sure, though, you'll want to choose a bridal shower theme that you can implement without causing yourself and your fellow planners hair-pulling and wringing of hands. That would be enough to send you running off to join the bride and groom in their pre wedding counseling!

    So true! Always consider the bride too. I am playing hostess at two showers this year. One was a fancy Sunday afternoon tea party, the other will be a Saturday evening cockial party. The brides have very different tastes--so the events are different as well.
