Bakey Goodness from a Mix? A Blogger's Confessional
So, I admit it. Not everything single thing I make is from scratch. And one time, in a moment of desperation (working 50 hours, house guests on the way, nothing baked, in the middle of a mad dash round the grocery store) I bought a muffin mix from The Fresh Market. I figured they would be pretty good---not like homemade-goodness good---but, hey, I was in a bind and they only ingredients they called for were an egg, cooking oil and water, all of which I had at the house.
To my surprise, not only were the Morning Glory Muffins ok, but they were delicious. So good in fact that I recently found myself craving them. And since everyone needs a good go-to baking mix to bust out of the cupboard for that last minute muffin emergency (it could happen), I thought I would share this little gem with the rest of you: Sticky Fingers Bakeries Morning Glory Muffin Mix is no joke.
