Hello lovelies,

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I am a 30 something housewife and I live in a sweet little bungalow in lovely Asheville, NC with my husband Shawn, my weimaraner, Lizzie, and my cat, Blu. I used to work 50+ hours a week for Nielsen, but after falling on the job and hurting my knee, I found myself at home with 50+ hours per week to kill. I've always liked to craft and spend time in the kitchen, so I started honing my skills. To help keep my sanity, my  techno genius husband created this blog for me.

Other things about me: I went to college at a small school in Western PA called Westminster. There I studied English, was a member of the equestrian team and lettered in football (no kidding). I didn't own a TV for most of my adult life, but since my accident I have discovered the joys of HG and reality TV. I still don't own a microwave-just don't feel I need one. I'm a public radio junkie and was a onetime correspondent for ESPN Radio. Today, I try to live simply and have a real affinity for vintage things, especially china and really specific dishes.

I enjoy sharing my ideas and the inspiration I find on other blogs with my readers here. Thank you again for taking the time to stop by and I always love to hear what people think, so please leave a comment or drop me a line. Anyway, these are some ideas I've had floating around in my head.
